Masanori Yamaguchi began producing various TV-commercials with Post-Production(Sony PCL).
During that time, he co-developed and coproduced TV commercials, Music Videos, Movie Trailers, and Company promotion films with various Movie Directors working on the front lines.
He better known as "VJ REEL", when he plays at Visual Live events, and makes CD package design.
In 2007, VJ REEL won the "CM section gold prize'' at the JPPA AWARDS 2007 hosted by the Japan Post Production Association.
The following year, VJ REEL successfully created the world's first 3D full image production at the 3D digital dome planetarium, "Synra Dome" inside the Science Museum in Tokyo built by the Japan Science Foundation.
In 2009, VJ REEL joined the video label and designer group "LightRhythmVisuals", founded by world renown VJ Artist Ben Sheppee and was the first Japanese to participate in the "Primavera Sound" music festival in Barcelona, Spain.
Our recent works include a joint project with worldly reknown animation studio, "Production I.G." on the Japanese version of the music video for "Falling Down" by British rock band, Oasis - the theme song for animated cartoon "Eden in the east" and also worked on the artwork of the Japanese version of the album jacket, and has received high acclaim nationwide and internationally.
