Diran Lyons - Goodbye victoria (2009)

Directed by Diran Lyons and Matthew Potter (108 Minutes)

Bradley Mason (William Patrick Shaffer) needs a job, or so says his girlfriend, Victoria (Victoria Amato). A tempting opportunity arises when he reunites with old friend Randy (Tyler Jopek), who had moved away from their boyhood city of Charleston to California. On an unexpected road trip to South Carolina, Randy comes with promises to introduce Bradley to powerful Hollywood figures and offers a free place to stay. Bradley leaves family, friends, and Victoria behind to pursue the California dream. When Randy proves unable to deliver on his promises, Bradley finds himself penniless in an agricultural region of central California with no way to get back home.

The first full-length film by co-directors Diran Lyons and Matthew Potter, "Goodbye Victoria" is a disorienting, time-line jumping, hipster-flavored homage to Godard.
